







On June 20, 2025, at Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok. The Hub of Knowledge and Technology Center of Cassava, underfunded by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), in collaboration with the Thai Tapioca Development Institute Foundation (TTDI), organized a special seminar entitled “From Discovery to Delivery: Ensuring the Future of Cassava Through Innovation and Partnerships.” The special seminar featured key speakers from CIAT, Colombia: Dr. Maria Fernanda Alvarez, Dr. Jonathan Newby, and Dr. Winnie Gimode. This event was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Klanarong Sriroth, the Chair of the Research and Innovation Steering Committee for Economic and Agricultural Development, who presided over this opening ceremony. This seminar received active participation from researchers, colleagues, lecturers, government sections, and audiences from both the public and private sectors in Thailand and abroad. Participants engaged in discussions, policy dialogues, and Q&A sessions regarding the current state of the cassava situation in Thailand. This event aimed to highlight existing challenges and provide a comprehensive overview of the cassava industry in Thailand. Furthermore, this seminar focused on fostering collaboration among various networks to promote sustainable cassava development across Asia and to enhance Thailand’s cassava industry to a higher level.
