🎉 Kasetsart University Steps onto the Global Stage! Partnering with Hainan University to Advance Cassava Research

On July 20, 2025, the management team of the Cassava Knowledge and Technology Center, Kasetsart University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanwisa Siriwan, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Phumichai and Dr. Arunothai Sawwa from the Department of Agriculture, visited and held discussions with the School of Breeding and Multiplication, Hainan University, China.

This collaboration marks a major step in developing cassava varieties that better meet farmers’ needs. Key discussion points included:

✅ Sending researchers and students for Omics training to use data for precise cassava breeding.
✅ Co-hosting the ICTP2026 International Conference from March 23–25, 2026, bringing together tropical crop experts from around the world.

This partnership is a significant milestone in elevating Thailand’s cassava industry to the global level!
